Community Service Champion Award
Ian Haines is an exceptional student whose unwavering dedication and compassion shine through in all aspects of school life. As a valued member of our community, Ian consistently brings enthusiasm, initiative, and a spirit of generosity to everything he does. His natural leadership is particularly evident in his role as a cadet, where he demonstrates a deep sense of civic responsibility. Whether guiding peers during ANZAC events or speaking with grace and sincerity at the Ash Wednesday liturgy on short notice, Ian always carries himself with dignity and pride, embodying the values of reflection, faith, and service under pressure.
Beyond formal occasions, Ian’s everyday contributions are equally impactful. He is a consistent source of positivity, kindness, and quiet leadership, always willing to assist staff and students with genuine warmth. As a rising member of the Social Justice teams, Ian has already made a significant mark—motivating peers, organising events, and championing causes like Project Compassion. His efforts during Shrove Tuesday and his proactive organisation of school barbecues highlight his initiative and dedication. Ian’s mature outlook, selfless nature, and commitment to community service makes him an inspirational example for others to follow.
